Damp & Timber Treatments

Currently our service comes with a 10 or 30 year company guarantee as appropriate. A further guarantee is available with Sovereign Chemicals at an additional charge.

Our professionals provide low odour two-hour clearance wood preservative or insecticide.

Typical damp proof course treatment would involve the removal off all damp plaster up to a height of approximately 1.2 metres, and the injection of a chemical damp proof course, followed by re-plastering with a sharp sand and cement render, and a plaster top coat.

Timber

Typical treatment for an active infestation of common furniture beetle (Anobium Punctatum) would involve the removal of any damaged timber and treatment with a chemical insecticide.

Damp proofing

At Pass & Co. we do not recommend external injection of chemical damp proof courses, without the removal of internal plaster. This is because over the course of our 30 plus years experience in the industry, we have found that the results of this method cannot be guaranteed.

As a PCA registered company, Pass & Co. has an active commitment to help protect the environment, therefore we do not treat properties for beetle infestation purely as a precautionary measure.
